Maqsood Elahi is the Founder and Chairman of the Cardiac Eye International Foundation (CEIF). He is also an Adult & Paediatric Cardiothoracic Surgeon and Distinguished Professor of Cardiovascular Sciences. He has over 200 peer-reviewed publications in the reputed scientific journals and also authored 4 books in oxidative stress, mostly due to the external environmental stress factors including high fat diets.
Adult cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, complex congenital/pediatric cardiac surgery, surgery for aortic diseases, CCRT placements, MICS aortic and mitral valve, off-pump CABGs, mechanical circulatory support (LVADs, RVADs, ECMO) heart and lung transplant.
