Currently, he works as Professor of Human Anatomy and Sports Sciences at the Department of Biomedical and Biotechnological Sciences, School of Medicine, University of Catania, Italy. He is also the Director of the Research Center on Motor Activities (CRAM), the Director of the Master’s Program, School of Posturology and Physical Exercise Sciences, the Vice Dean of the Human Movement Sciences Faculty and the Head of the Movement Innovation PosturaLab at the University of Catania and the ViceDirector of the Faculty of Sport Sciences of the Fujan Normal University, China. He is a member of different Italian and international association of Anatomy, Histology, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine and Exercise. Since 2002 until today he has been Peer Reviewer in national and international scientific projects form 15 different Countries and European Community and in several international scientific journals (about 130). Also, he is Associate Editor in 10 international peer-revew impacted journals and Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Functional Morphology and Kinesiology (MDPI). Prof. Musumeci has been a speaker and scientific director at several Italian and international meetings and co-author’s in several books’ manual regarding anatomy, kinesiology, sport sciences and musculoskeletal disorders.
